Vacation at Deerfield Beach, Florida

We are in Deerfield for 2 weeks. The hotel, beach, pool and everything is AMAZING. I have posted a few pictures from our first 3 days. We pretty much wake up and go to the pool and beach.

We watched the shuttle from the Beach. It is a little hard to see
but it is on the right side of the cloud. (you can see the smoke trail)
The Beach (this is what we see everyday)

Recovering

Yesterday was a very long day. We arrived at the hospital @ 8:30am and I didn't have surgery until 4:15pm. The surgery went good other than me having a severe migraine. I am very thankful for all the prayers and thoughts, it truly means a lot to me and my family. I am just hoping that everything will go as planned so I don't have to have anything else done.

I couldn't imagine not being a Christian and going through the things that we have. I know many women have miscarriages and it is common. It is a very hard thing when you lose a child and 3 years later you try again and it is not a success. I do not understand why God did what he did, but I trust him. We are really sad but we are keeping our eyes on him.

Thanks for the prayers and love.

Another Update

I just got a call from my OBGYN and I will be going to the hospital tomorrow for a D & C. Please continue the prayers for me and my family.

Pregnancy Update

On June 4th, 2009, we found out that we were expecting a little baby. Our household was so excited, and we would once again have a "Baby Jesus" for the play. Andon was extremely excited to have a baby brother/sister which he has wanted for a while.

God must have had other plans for our family. On Friday, June19th, I started having some complications. We went to my doctor in Brandon and they said that I was at High Risk for a Miscarriage. We came home and I did nothing but rest and drink lots of water. On Father's Day, we had to go to Brandon Hospital because I was hurting and was still having problems.

Randall has been the most supporting husband...I couldn't imagine watching your wife go through so much pain and knowing that there is nothing you could do. I felt horrible that everything happened Father's Day weekend, but Randall simply said " I am glad it is on Father's Day and not Mother's Day"

We decided to tell Andon today and it was a hard thing because we didn't know if he would be upset. He could have asked "Why doesn't God let me have a brother or sister?" We were worried with how he would react. Andon is simply amazing, his response "The baby will be in Heaven with my brother" he continued with "we may not get to the baby for a long time but one day we will." Andon has the positive look on death that we should have as Christians, he said he was sad but no worries cause he is with God and we will see him again.

We decided to let Andon name the baby and the baby's name is JESSE. It could be for a boy or girl.

Please continue to pray for our family. I will be going to the doctor throughout the week. For now, I am resting and taking it easy. I am extremely blessed with an amazing Christian family, Church family and friends.

Love you all,

Liss

Dragons vs Preco Bees 9th game

The Bees did not have enough players to play the game so we won by forfeit. We played a scrimmage game and we won 27-16.

Dragons vs Rattlers 8th game

It was FREEZING this game! The tempature was 42!!! The Dragons beat the Rattlers 26-22.

Dragons vs. Diamond Jax 7th game

The Dragons played the Diamond Jax on Jan. 29th and we won 23.22. It was a very close game!

A long time...

It has been a while since I have updated my blogspot and I am sorry for not posting these blogs sooner. Just a few updates on what is going on with our life.
  • Andon's heart monitor test came in and everything is good. He still has the irregular heartbeat but for now it is ok. We will have to back one time a year for a check up.

  • Andon is back in daycare now. We decided to let him stay home until all of his tests for his heart were done and the results were in.

  • The Dragon's are doing great. We have won 8 and lost 1. (I am working on the blogs for the past 3 games)

  • Randall has started a new job. He is actually working with some of the same people from his previous job.

  • We are getting ready for the play, (Story of Jesus). We move into the arena on Feb 24. Since Randall's dad is in charge of construction, we will be done there almost every night as well.

I have attached some random pictures that have been taken over the past 3 weeks.

Andon told me one day he was going to take a nap. Well normally I have to go give him an hug and kiss but he never said anything, so after 30 minutes I went to find him. After searching for about 10 minutes, this is where I found him

The date on the picture is wrong. Mema took this at her house one day and I like it.

Andon loves to practice Teeball so almost everyday he will practice. These were taken before one of his games.

Aqua Sox vs Dragons 6th game

Tonight we won, 21-11. Our boys did great! I am also a very proud mom because after every game they pray and every time they have asked Andon. It makes me proud that at the age of 4, his faith shines.

Lynx vs Dragons 5th game

We played the Lynx on 1/24 and won 22 to 19. It was a great game!

Dragons vs Scrappers 4th game

We played the Scrappers on 1/23. Our boys tried their best, but we lost 17-21. We played the other undefeated team. There are not many pictures because it was an "intense" tee ball game. One of the coaches from the other team was actually kicked. It is very sad, that coaches aren't role models for the kids.
